Used J&S funeral services over the last few weeks building to the funeral and burial this week (5th July) and cannot recommend them highly enough. Such circumstances are emotionally raw for everyone impacted and from first meeting with Lynette at J&S they took us through the journey ahead with empathy and compassion whilst providing a complete service, and all done in a highly professional manner. From hosting mum until the time of her funeral, preparing for the service, recommending celebrant Bernadette French (who was outstanding and a really good listener to pull together such a custom yet completely appropriate eulogy), to all the tasks on the day, the cars, the journey, the burial and more. Met John too who orchestrated the funeral day with detail, and also Bob our driver in the limo behind the hearse, all respectful of the day and event for us. Given the sadness of the whole situation J&S and Bernadette made it the best possible outcome, truly thank you!

Steven and Lynette made the arranging of saying good bye to my mum so much easier. From the first phone call they were so patient and helpful. Going over the options, costs and answering all my questions. I had no idea we’re to start with it all. Lynette checking everything was as we wanted and planning the final details. And arranging the flowers and order of service we wanted so it all was arranged in one place and one bill rather than me trying to arrange with different places. On the day the team were so caring respectful and made sure everything was as I had asked. Al who took the service on the day was organised by Lynette and was so perfect he brought my mum back to life without even meeting her. Everyone commented on how amazing he was. All of the team and Al were always at the end of a phone or email and responded quickly to any changes or questions. I am so grateful to the team I had no idea were to start and something I never wanted to do but the they made it all so simple and so easy to plan the perfect good bye. Something not easy at the best of times but even harder at the moment

All the family would like to send a big thank you for the wonderful send off you gave Alan. We were so glad we read the reviews first, as we could not have chosen a better company. From the moment we walked in the office and met Linette, to the day of the funeral when Steve and his team arrived, everything was just superb. They could not have done any more to make the day perfect.

We used J&S for my father's funeral earlier this month and they were fantastic. It's a hard thing to ask for a referral but I'm so glad we found Lynette and her team. What could have been very upsetting and traumatic was a much easier experience deciding on the service etc, thanks to their compassion and respect. They looked after my dad with such dignity. They were very reasonably priced compared to local chains and always available to answer any questions. A very personal service and one I would not hesitate to recommend.
