Had an absolutely amazing day with Pete Fire, doing the sword making experience. He is so personable, knowledgable and talented, and you really feel like you are a huge part of making the sword your own! I can’t thank him enough for making the day so awesome, and truly unforgettable! Would HIGHLY recommend!

Booked a papa knife day for my daughters 40th birthday. I wanted something completely different for her We went today 5th Feb and had a lovely day. Peter is so knowledgeable and passionate about his craft as well as a good teacher. My daughter is really pleased her knife and we'd both like to thank Peter for a truly memorable,enjoyable afternoon. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to do something different and exciting.

Spent a day with my husband forging a sword together for our anniversary and couldn’t have had a better day. Pete was knowledgeable, fun, and patient and made the whole day so enjoyable. The emailing of questions and information beforehand was also welcoming, detailed and so helpful. Highly recommend any experience here and we have a beautiful memento as a reminder too!

Had a wonderful time doing blacksmithing with my two other siblings. I can say that Pete was an amazing person who made the whole experience fun and was a great laugh for general conversation. Had a great day out at Peters forge, booked a papaknife experience for two and came away with two fantastic kitchen knives, Peter is a great teacher and very knowledgeable in his craft and has a great personality to boot. If you have any interest in blacksmithing I would highly recommend.

I booked a knife forging experience as a surprise for my boyfriends birthday - he had an absolutely fantastic time and it was entertaining for me as an observer too. Pete was great at helping keep it a surprise until he opened the door to his forge, then helped my boyfriend come up with a fantasy dagger design since he wanted to go for something fun he could display. Pete was a lot of fun to spend the day with, incredibly knowledgeable and keen to teach us all sorts about his equipment, creations and various smithing processes. Highly recommended experience!

We had an amazing time making bread knifes and it was so fun and rewarding to do the process from start to finish. You know the expression "the best thing since sliced bread" - this wouldn't be possible if it weren't for Petefire making bread knifes since the dawn of time. Had an excellent time on the Experience day creating a cheese knife. Peter explained every step of creation, and in the end we heat treated and sharpened the knife to make it fully functional. Would definitely recommend!
